Ava's Point of View
I have been driving for four hours, and since I have only stopped once for gas and to pee, I knew I needed to eat. I was approaching the next exit, and according to the signs, there were places to eat.
I pulled off the freeway, and as I stopped at the light, there was a sign showing a Denny's to the left. I turned left, and not too far down was the restaurant. As I got out of the truck, I grabbed my wallet and phone.
As I was walking towards the entrance of the restaurant, I pressed the power button. I needed to know if I could stay at Kiara's and if I still had a job. I put the phone in my pocket and walked in.
