"Oh my god," I screamed as I jumped out of my bed. I was fast asleep and woke up to ice-cold water being dumped on me. I looked around, and Caleb and dad were sitting there laughing. Caleb was holding the bucket while dad was holding his phone.
"Why?" I asked as I wiped the water from my face.
"Well, son, you have slept half the day away. You need to call Ava because she is worried and then get ready."
"Wait, what? What time is it?"
"You have two hours till you say I do," Caleb said.
"Why did you let me sleep so long?" I said as I quickly found my phone. Ava must be a mess because I promised to call her. She has been so emotional lately it is not funny. She cried the other day because her grilled cheese wasn't perfectly cooked.
