Ava planned a beautiful funeral and wake for Jim. So many people attended that Ava was brought to tears. He was truly loved and adored by the community.
Not too long after the funeral, Ava moved back into the cabin and used some of the money left over from the life insurance policy to furnish it. Jenny had taken everything. Dishes, kitchen table, Jim's bed, clothing, plus more.
