The car continued moving and finally we arrived at Julian's company. The skyscraper displayed a large C logo that I was very familiar with, especially if it wasn't the agency and entertainment company I had dreamed of before: Creative Co. Ltd. A multinational entertainment company operating as a record label, talent agency, music production, event management, music publishing, film production, model and actor management, and several other things related to the entertainment world. The artists under Creative Co. Ltd. are indeed top artists, although not all of them, but most of them are. Creative's biggest source of income comes from film and music production, concerts, and modeling events. I couldn't believe that someone like Julian, who seemed so casual yesterday, was actually the owner of Creative Co. Ltd.
I got out of the car with Eli and immediately stood beside him as we entered the building. I whispered to Eli, "Are you sure this is his company?"
Eli turned and looked at me, "Why? Julian stole my money to build this company, so I definitely know. And I'm a shareholder too."
Hearing Eli's words, I was naturally shocked, but considering his luxurious mansion and Eli's unknown age, I wasn't surprised. Having lived for so long, Eli has learned so much and built an extraordinary business, and I wouldn't be surprised if he were a government puppet master too.
"Mr. Abraham, the Chairman is waiting for you in his office. Please follow me," said a woman who appeared to be in her early 30s who was already waiting in the lobby.
"Hmm," Eli simply nodded.
We arrived at the Chairman's office of Creative Co. Ltd. If I'd just heard the title "Chairman," I'd have usually thought of a middle-aged man, or at least a man over 40. However, considering Julian's face from yesterday, which still looked like he was in his early 20s, it was clear he didn't represent the Chairman I'd always had in mind.
"Chairman, Mr. Abraham has arrived," said the woman who had escorted us.
"Chloe, tell my brother to come in and bring me the documents I asked for," a voice from inside the room rang out quite loudly.
The woman, named Chloe, sighed, opened the door, and then excused herself. Upon entering, I saw Julian in his formal suit, a stark contrast to his attire from yesterday. Julian was just as handsome as Eli, and his youthful appearance didn't overpower his aura as a company leader.
"Oh, brother, have a seat. It's been a long time since you've been here," Julian greeted Eli.
I sat next to Eli, while Julian sat on the waiting sofa next to him. Julian appeared to be reading the documents Chloe had given him. After finishing, he handed them to Eli. Eli accepted them and read them.
"Those are sponsorship documents. Even though you are a shareholder here, it's best for Orion's sake that you register your company as his exclusive sponsor. That way, we can easily boost Orion's career in the entertainment industry," Julian said in a tone that was quite annoying to those who heard him.
It was clear that Julian didn't want to lose out and was using any means to keep his profits. Eli placed the documents in his hands on the table and said, "Just send that to my office, and let the team in charge of sponsorship matters handle it. Let's discuss Orion's contract with his previous agency first."
"Oh, okay. First, I've read Orion's contract, and it's actually quite difficult for him to leave that agency. Moreover, Orion just renewed his contract less than a year ago, and there was an upfront fee. Not to mention the penalty, which is quite unreasonable. For such a small agency, they're truly extraordinary at deceiving their talent and not wanting to lose money. Orion's actual pay and the amount paid to him are already significantly different. A quarter of Orion's salary goes to Orion, but from that quarter, there are still deductions for his manager, transportation, and housing expenses. Clearly, Orion only gets a quarter of the quarter of his salary paid by the agency. Regarding legal matters, I need to discuss it with my legal team, and I'll arrange for a lawyer for Orion to handle this case. However, three-quarters of the costs are covered by the sponsor, hehe," Julian explained, once again showing his unwillingness to lose side.
"Okay, you take care of everything. You can put the costs into your sponsorship or send them to my secretary personally. You've never wanted to lose money. Come to think of it, when you started this company, you stole my deposit and haven't returned it. I'll collect it as debt with interest," Eli leaned back on the sofa, speaking casually.
I'd been silent and listening to their conversation. Honestly, from their conversation, I knew it wouldn't be easy for me to leave my agency and it would definitely cost a lot of money. I wasn't a particularly talented or well-known model, so it was strange that a company as big as Creative would take me on so easily, even after so much effort. If it weren't for the fact that Julian was Eli's younger brother, and Eli had asked Julian to help me, Julian would have been reluctant to take on talent like me.
I saw Julian staring at me, as did Eli, who had previously glanced at Julian and now looked at me. Julian suddenly said, "I've seen your portfolio, and I think you're simply in the wrong place. Your agency doesn't have the resources to match your current self, so your talents aren't being properly showcased and your career isn't progressing. Furthermore, your agency is also trying to suppress your career so you won't outshine younger talent from your agency. Your agency focuses more on models under 20, so it's understandable that they can't develop a mature model like you. But don't worry, in less than a month, you'll be an official talent at Creative, and after that, I'll guarantee you'll be able to spread your wings freely."
I was a little moved by Julian's words, but he spoke again, making me swallow my tears. "Because you have a sugar daddy who fully sponsors you, and he's the brother of the Chairman of Creative Co., Ltd. So, even though I didn't want to take you on because it was too complicated, I'll still do it for my brother. Rather than being asked for money from the past, I'll have to do it."
Eli shook his head and said, "Finish this quickly, and I don't think Orion needs to work for that agency as long as you take care of the contract."
"Calm down, brother. I've already sent my men to that tiny agency and informed them that Orion is moving to Creative, and they'll be contacting Orion soon to inquire," Julian said, giving me a thumbs-up.
And sure enough, just as he finished saying that, my phone rang. I picked it up and saw that it was the CEO of my agency. Eli glanced at my phone and said, "Pick up and turn it on speaker."
