Logan Bennett’s eyes widened.
“Sis, are you seriously bringing him with us?”
Chloe Bennett nodded. “As long as it says I’m married… Mr. Liu will back off.”
Truthfully, even she wasn’t entirely confident.
The car stopped in front of Bennett Pharmaceuticals’ main building in Los Angeles. A huge digital billboard stretched from the rooftop of the twelve-story tower, glowing with four massive neon panels, advertising the company’s newest skincare line.
Employees greeted Chloe respectfully as she strode through the lobby. She moved straight toward her office, heels clicking sharply, and motioned for her assistant to enter.
A chic, impeccably dressed woman stepped inside.
“Good morning, Ms. Bennett.”
Chloe sank into her chair effortlessly.
“This is Ethan Cole, and this is Logan. Put the
