Ethan Cole nodded. He had nothing planned for the next few days, so spending time accompanying his sister-in-law seemed like a harmless diversion. When lunchtime arrived, Logan Bennett handled the paperwork to get Ethan Cole excused from work, and they walked out to her car.
Logan Bennett drove a bright red, imported Red Vintage Mini Cooper. It was stylish and eye-catching, but definitely not luxurious. The interior was decorated with trendy, minimalist accessories.
As Logan Bennett drove, she instructed Ethan Cole: "Victor Sun hasn't been in Los Angeles for years, so he won't know you. Just pretend to be my protective boyfriend. You don't need to say anything; just sit there looking possessive, and he'll get the hint."
