Back at the villa in Los Angeles, Logan Bennett was sitting on the living-room sofa watching TV while Chloe Bennett had already gone upstairs. Ethan Cole was about to head up as well, but Logan suddenly grabbed him.
“Brother-in-law, you didn’t forget our bet, right?”
Ethan frowned. “What bet?”
Logan smacked his thigh. “I knew you’d forget!” Grinning, he continued, “Don’t worry, I’ll refresh your memory.”
Logan pulled out his phone. A recording played—a replay of their earlier wager. Ethan had agreed to compete with Logan in sales. If Ethan lost, he’d divorce Chloe. If Logan lost, he had to accompany Ethan for one night.
