Catherine POV
"Let them!" Sam said proudly. "Who doesn't want a body like this?"
Sam's words rang in my head. I knew he was only teasing me.
"Mine!" The single word escaped my lips, and everything froze around me.
What the hell was happening?
It felt like I was stuck, as if my brain had frozen in that second and I was incapable of helping myself.
I could sense the triplets around me and even Colt's warm touch.
Did they notice I was out of it?
A few seconds later, I looked at my hands and saw they had shifted into claws.
What the f*ck! How the hell did that happen?
"H-h-how?" I shrieked.
I didn't even listen to a word any of the brothers were saying; they were discussing my state. Yet none of them were really paying attention to me.
