Finding Lust Again Her life flashing in front of her eyes, she watched Joel stand still, his eyes unfeeling as usual, as her back slammed against the backrest of the chairs, a sharp pain spiking up her spine. "Ah!" She cried. "Why the hell did you do that?" A croaky voice barked. "Do what, man? I didn't know you had a person tied up in the air." Joel responded, almost flatly. Within Bailey's earshot, her hazy state barely allowed her to grasp their words. However, she managed to make out sounds of blows as though they were exchanging punches, after which everywhere went pin-drop silent. "Help." She slurred, feeling the ache explode in her head. With her eyes going dizzy, her consciousness seeped out, and the damp wetness behind her head trailed down her chin.
