"Thank you," Bailey appreciated, forcing the lines in her cheeks to form a smile. "Oh no, I'm just doing my job, honey." She laughed heartily. "Oh hell, you are." Joel tsked. "They'd lift my suspension after your testimony," she added. "I hope they do." Bailey responded, uncertain either she should reply or not. Then her eyes flew back to the door, and she noticed a key buried in the locks.
