"Arghh!" She squeaked, flinging the notepad to the other side of the room.
"Don't be so loud. He'll hear us." Ciara whisper-shouted, hurrying over to put her hand over Evelyn's mouth.
The latter swatted her hand away immediately, along with her nose flaring up,
"You lied to Mason that we had a dinner reservation at McDonald's for this?" Evelyn asked in disbelief as she limped towards the window.
