"You have to wake up!" Saint gripped the blanket that was around Harper and shook her. "Now!" The room was cold. Harper curled up into a ball and shuddered when she lost the warmth of the fabric. Her tired eyes met her mate's face. "What is happening?" Harper's voice was weak. It couldn't have been morning yet. "I want to sleep longer..." "I'm sorry, baby," Saint looked apologetic. "But there are intruders on the castle grounds. You have to wake up." "Intruders?" Saint took a deep breath. His eyes were clouded with concern. "The Comet back is soon by our doorstep, my roots are telling me. We should get your friends and prepare for the worst." Harper sat up, and Saint handed her some clothes. She was the alpha of her pack, someone supposed to be fierce, but all she wanted was to fall
