James' words left me stunned. Clutching the file folder in my hands, I muttered, "Is it really that bad?"
"Yes, the real estate market in San Francisco is fiercely competitive right now," James explained, "Bynes Group has thrived in this sector for decades, but Leo lacks the vision to expand. These past few years, he's been coasting on what was built before him. To secure this collaboration with our group, he even took out loans against Bynes Group."
I wanted to ask if, given James’ capabilities, he could oust Leo without shaking the foundation of Bynes Group.
But he was already helping me more than enough; I couldn't ask for too much. It was like the time I asked him to take Leo's life, and he flatly refused.
If I disagreed, Bynes Group would remain under Leo's control.
