Stella's POV:
After dropping me off, James' Bentley sped away.
In front of me, towering skyscrapers stretched as far as the eye could see. Among them, a group of gleaming silver buildings formed an eye-catching N-shaped complex, with the words "Silver Group" emblazoned in gold on the rooftop.
I took a deep breath and, stepping confidently in my eight-centimeter heels, walked towards the building.
The interview went pretty smoothly. They skimmed through my resume and asked a few questions about the philosophy and working style of my previous employers and the projects I had handled. Luckily, I came prepared. James had already briefed me on the possible questions the interviewers might ask.
In the end, I successfully joined the group's New Energy Development Division.
