The sound of running footsteps echoed down the hallway. Fast. Frantic. Desperate. Aaron's head turned. Two figures appeared at the end of the corridor—a blonde woman and a dark-haired man, both running at full speed. Ronnie's parents. "Where is she?" Ronnie's mother's voice was high-pitched, panicked.
