[SERA — POV] The Graveyard Café was so named because it occupied the ground floor of a building adjacent to the oldest cemetery in Veyrath's Ash Market district—the non-denominational one, where humans and, if rumor was accurate, the occasional vampire elder who'd run out of options, were interred. It served coffee that was adequate, wine that was better, and maintained a customer base that valued the specific combination of perpetual low light, high ambient noise, and booths deep enough that conversations disappeared into them. It was, in other words, exactly the kind of place that people chose for conversations they didn't want on record.
