I nodded at uncle Leonardo and he took another deep breath before shifting again into a more comfortable position. Someone suddenly knocked, and a doctor came in.
“Boss, I’m sorry for interrupting your meeting with the patient, but it’s time for me to check up on him and on the stitches on his back. I told him to lay down with his back exposed, but he insisted on leaning against the hospital bed.”
“I told you I’m fine, doctor. There is no need for me to expose the wounds if I’m capable enough to lay on my back.”
“As your doctor, sir, I strongly disagree with you. I believe that the pain medications are helping you cope with the pain, but once boss Michael is out of here, you'll be roaring in pain like a mistreated dog.
