I woke up with the smell of coffee, and when I looked up, I saw a cup of hot coffee on the drawer beside the bed. I smiled and sat up straighter as I reached for the cup of coffee.
“Good morning boss.”
I smiled at Uriel who just got out of the bathroom. I realized that she had already prepared the table near my bed for breakfast. She was wearing the nightgown that she wore last night, and I could feel something while I was looking, but I decided to focus on drinking my coffee.
“Well, boss, it looks like you really enjoy that morning coffee of yours.”
“Why, yes, Ms. Knight. I was very tired last night, and my body is a bit sore because of your scratches and bites, so a cup of coffee makes the soreness go away.” I said and gave her a wink as I drank another sip of coffee.
