Under the Heavy Rain The downpour slashed across the city like a curtain of liquid knives. Thunder roared. The ruins of central city smoked and burned beneath black clouds shot through with purple lightning. Kevin rocketed through the air faster than light, leaving nothing behind but a greenish blur.
