"You just need to keep Kat occupied. Try not to be a d**k," Calum mutters as we reach Kat's house.
Connor is at practice, and Calum is on a promise with Eden, meaning I had to be with Kat while they got their swerve on.
Wonderful.
Connor thought it was a great way for me to build bridges with Kat. I want to build more than that, but that is another story.
"Just don't come in. You know how nervous girls get, especially--"
"I get it. We keep out of your way." I sigh, as I stare at the door with dread. The door swings open to reveal Kat, her raven-colored hair collected in a pile on her head as strands framed her beautiful face. Her eyes dart away from mine once they meet, and my stomach drops.
