Later that week I was surprised to receive not one, but two acceptance letters from the colleges I had secretly hoped to join. One was local, which meant I got to stay with Maggie, the other was where I had a sneaking suspicion Connor would be going. I already knew that I wanted to stay living here with Maggie- regardless of anything else, I loved being near her. I felt like she was all I had in this world, and I didn’t want to be away from her.
