New plans

Today's evening was great since Meg slept in her bed at the bot. It was warm and comfortable unlike the cave and though she got a cold that day and she spent the whole day in bed since Loyrane was extra cautious about her. He didn't have to worry but then again if something happened to Meg, he would be to blame and he didn't want to risk.

Loyrane intended to go back to the forest without Meg knowing because he needed to feed the beings he had in the secret room of the bot and he wasn't sure if Meg would want to be part of it so he left quietly that evening when she was asleep and wasn't back until the sun was rising. He slipped in quietly grateful that Meg was still asleep and he went to feed the beings that were more than grateful because if not for him, they would be dead by now or probably in the lair of the inhumans.

Meg woke up late on the afternoon and she was still tired but she forced herself to get up because she really needed to get out of the bed. She slowly crept forward until she arrived at the door and opened it before heading to the camera room where Loyrane always spent most of his time. She really felt like heading back to the forest and when she thought of it, she remembered that she left her second baby, the lion, in the kitchen so she got up ready to go for it but she fell down because she was still weak. She wondered how a mere cold made her weak.

Meg whimpered when she tried to get up but fell again and worst of all, Loyrane was not around. She didn't know if he had left for the forest alone or he had passed out somewhere without her knowing but either way she was scared. She slowly crawled when she failed to get up before making a turn when she arrived in the kitchen. She smiled in relief when she saw her second baby sleeping up on the counter but quickly groaned when she sneezed loudly no doubt waking him or her up.

Loyrane woke up hours later in the secret room where he had passed out. He sometimes forgot that he didn't sleep at his own will though he wished to think otherwise. He groaned when he got a migraine but ignored it and headed out to the camera room where he saw that some of the stuff had fallen down and he knew that it might have been Meg who he had forgotten to check on after coming back to the forest. He didn't know why they were seeing each other rarely and didn't have one on one talks about their lives like they used to and truth because told, he missed them and he missed everyone, he missed the jokes Lily made and the love Meg's parents showed him although they knew that he was dangerous and could destroy them in a blink of an eye.

Meg passed out in the kitchen again! with her second baby cuddling her hand. Loyrane found them there minutes after he had woken up and rolled his eyes when he noticed the lion from the forest was cuddling Meg's hand. He kicked it harshly to get it away from her but the animal snarled at him to which he laughed. He didn't think that the animal could do anything to him and he knew if it tries to, it would die but he left it to go and cook food because he knew that Meg must be hungry because she only ate the roasted rabbit and that was hours ago.

After preparing the food, he carried Meg and put her in his room hoping to have a conversation later about the people she saw because he thought that he had given her enough time to heal. He also bought the food inside before locking the door leaving the lion outside and only its snarls and whimpers were heard in the inside of the room as it tried to scratch the door.

Loyrane didn't know of the inhumans were attacking anytime soon and he didn't know if he was ready to face them alone because he didn't want to risk the lives of the humans here and he also didn't want anything to happen to Meg so he decided that it was better if he put a recording device in their ships and he only hoped that Meg would be willing to die this because there was no way he was going to sneak in their ship and Meg had an advantage because she had been there before although they needed to travel by foot back to kloan.

Loyrane decided that they'd be leaving the next day if Meg accepted which he hoped she did so he went to the camera room to set some things up and organize all the stuff they were taking because the journey could take a day or two depending on their speed and that's if they didn't find obstacles on the way. He didn't have a lot to arrange for Meg and she had brought clothes that wouldn't help so he decided to get for her clothes from his bit since there was an application that could give them clothes even on their planet since the aliens liked to disguise themselves.

Loyrane packed everything they needed before giving instructions to the bot about what it would do if they left and he upgraded some of the systems he was going to need before heading back to the secret room hoping that the beings he had would allow his plan and help him because he couldn't do it alone.

Meg woke up when the scent of food hit her and she didn't waste any minute before diving on not caring that she was eating poorly. She had one thought in mind which was to feed her stomach to gain some energy because she planned on going back to the forest that day. She only prayed that the protectors didn't notice that someone or them to be exact, had trespassed.

She had someone whimpering at the door and for some minutes, she thought it was whiskers, before remembering that Whiskers had gone with their parents and it was her second baby, the lion, who she wanted to name some time soon. She opened the door and guided it in before setting it on the couch which she didn't have in the room. Noting this, she looked around and noticed that she was in an unfamiliar room though anyone could guess that it was Loyrane's.
