Chapter 5

Firstly we went to see all the campuses of the university. Each campus has its own glory and walls decorated differently from each other regarding their subjects. Some buildings also have more than one department in them. Each campus building has its own labs, libraries, and cafeteria.

Students were relaxing while some were studying and attending lectures. Also, there were groups of students who were busy chatting among themselves. The hallways were bustling and full of life.

'Our uni is not as bad as I imagined' Alyssa said looking around.

'Exactly, it's much better' i giggled.

'Now I will show you how my charm works' Drake said proudly while pointing towards a group of girls.

Drake winked and waved in their direction and much to his dismay they ignored him and walked away. Seeing this we all laughed at his failed attempt.

'My favorite part of the university is the sports area. It is vast and beautiful' Katherine told us.

'What are we waiting for. Let's head towards that area' i replied.

True to kat information, it was freaking big and beautiful. There was a big cricket ground on the left side and a football ground on the right side. There was a stoned path surrounded with trees between both grounds which also helps to separate them.

As we were walking on the center stoned path someone called from behind 'Hey'.

We turned around and saw a boy of height almost 6 feet standing there with a football in his hand.

'Yo man, long time no see' Drake side hugged him.

We all look towards Drake for the introduction. 'He is my friend from college. We were on the same team football team.' Drake replied.

'You can play football?' i asked Drake.

'He was the best guy of our team' Drake's friend replied pointing towards Drake.

'You are exaggerating it a little bit' Drake playfully punched his shoulders.

'Why don't you join our team here. I can talk with the coach' his friend replied.

'Really?' Drake asked excitedly.

'Yes, you can try it. He is a good man. come with me' his friend said.

'Give your best.' i said to him and hand gestured 'fighting'.

'Okay, thanks.' Drake smiled and went with his friend.

When Drake was gone, we again continued on our way. We walked on the stoned path. At the end of the stoned path, there was a narrow long cemented watercourse with a small wooden bridge above it.Small flowers were grown on the sides of the watercourse giving an aesthetic effect.

'Girl, it is so attractive and beautiful.' i said to kat inspired by the beauty.

'I told you' she winked at me.

'The ground in front of us is for the basketball' kat further told us.

We then went toward the basketball ground. There were some boys practicing basketball. Alyssa, me and Kat sat on the bleachers and start watching the boys practicing.

'I have put my water bottle in the locker and now I am thirsty after so much walking.' Alyssa said.

'Is there any shop nearby?' Alyssa asked Kat.

'Yes, it's on the other side of the sports building' Kat told her.

'Emma wait for us here. We'll bring water bottles. Ok?' Alyssa asked me.

'My tummy is begging for chocolate. Can you also bring that.' i chuckled.

'Alright,' Alyssa replied.

Then Kat and Alyssa started walking on the right side of the ground towards the building. I was watching them when someone tapped me on the shoulder.

I turned around and find Josh standing there.

Man, he was hot in his sports uniform with slightly wet hairs. Some beads of sweat mixed with water were dripping from his forehead making him more drool-worthy. I was internally checking him out.

Josh cleared his throat and said 'can I sit?'

'Where' i asked dumbfounded.

'Here' he laughed and pointed towards the bleachers.

'Oh sure' i smiled nervously.

I mentally scolded my thinking.

He sat down next to me. 'Do you remember me?' he asked.

'Josh, right?' i replied looking at him for confirmation.

I clearly knew his name but I acted a little confused. How can I tell him directly that yes boy I know your name by heart and that you are the basketball team captain and one of the famous boys in our department. It's only for me to know.

'Yes you are right' he replied, his eyes sparkling and held hidden emotions but I did not focus on them.

' How's everything going?' he asked.

'It's great. I adjusted here quite well' i replied.

' That's good' he smiled sweetly.

'If you have any problem just tell me. I'll solve it for a beautiful lady like you.' he said or most likely flirted. My heart did a backflip at his statement.

'That's sweet of you.' i replied back smiling genuinely.

He was going to say something when his friend called him from the ground. 'Come, Josh let's start practice again'.

'Ok I am coming' he signaled him with a flat expression.

' You should go and practice' i encouraged him.

' Okay see you next time' he got up from his seat and gave a kiss on my hand backside. I melted at his gesture. After that, he took his leave.

He jogged to the playground and one can clearly see his muscles flexing through his shirt. I was staring at his body or you can say slightly ogling.

What's wrong with you girl. Why are you acting like a teenager? I mentally lectured myself.

Soon Alyssa and Kat returned with water bottles and chocolate in their hands.

'Who was that' Alyssa asked pointing at the seat where josh was sitting a few minutes ago.

'Josh' i replied.

'Josh the captain, right?' Kat asked.

'Right' i confirmed her.

'Oh God, what was he doing here. What was he saying' Alyssa excitedly asked.

'Slow down girl, it's not like he was asking me out on a date.' i was now laughing at this point.

'We were just chatting' i continued.

She slumped down on the seat. Kat and I smiled at her amusing behavior. I ate chocolate and watched Josh practice for a while. He also randomly waved at me. I must say he was a good player.

After some time we made our way towards our campus.

'Okay, you two enjoy. I have a class now' Kat informed us.

'Goodbye' Alyssa and I said simultaneously.

Kat waved us goodbye and went towards her class.

I asked Alyssa to know about Drake's whereabouts. She called him and he told us to wait for him in the parking lot. He will be there shortly.

At the parking lot, we were standing and watching people going in and out. Soon Drake came and placed his arms around our shoulders.

'Hello, girls' drake said happily.

'Looks like you have good news' i said to him.

'How did you know' he asked surprised.

'It's clear on your face' i smiled at his foolishness.

'Really.!' he said touching his face.

Alyssa hit him on the head and said 'i***t, tell us the good news'.

'oh yes, I am selected for the football team' he excitedly told us.

'That's my boy' Alyssa hugged him and drake smiled at her.

'It's great news. I can smell treat coming from you' i playfully said.

'Why not, it's on me. We will go out this weekend.' Drake told us.

'Yaaay' Alyssa and me hi-fived each other.

After a little chatting, Drake and Alyssa took their leave.
