LYRA’S POV
The sky darkened and it seemed like it was about to rain.
We were almost at the mountain top and my legs hurt from all the walking. My wolf wanted to come out, loving the woods but I refused to let her.
Jasper was around and I didn’t know what I’d do if she decided to expose our union to the entire group. The rain showered as we approached the top of the mountain, causing us to hasten our feet.
“Mr Finch speaks of a cave at the top of the mountain,” Ace announced when the rain showered. “If we can get to the top of the mountain, we will be sheltered from the rain and have a nice view of the lights when they come on.”
