It's been two days since Aurora joined us at BlackWood Pack. Despite the tense atmosphere following Mia's death, we were faring well.
Aurora was placed in Rowan’s room but never spent the night with him. She always gave the excuse of not wanting to sleep alone, seeing Rowan basically lived in his office.
Every day, she retired to my room to sleep, and I received her with open arms, playing dumb and ignoring the elephant in the room.
This continued until my mother summoned me into her room for a conversation. I walked to Luna Kelly's room, wondering if she was alright and looking forward to whatever she had to say.
