"You were not supposed to know that-" Rowan looked genuinely distressed but I couldn't bring myself to care.
"Is it true?" I asked again, holding on to his words. "What's going on, Ro? Tell me, please."
"You have no business eavesdropping on important conversations." Alpha Reno suddenly said, looking pissed. "We have a lot of things to do, we don't have time to accommodate people's feelings."
"My son will be awake any moment now, as well as the young lady. We should all have a meeting then." The Alpha king said in a dismissive tone, forcing the topic to an end.
The rest of the day was filled with anxiety. I wasn't allowed to see Aurora, neither did I know where Jasper was being remanded.
Mother was losing faith in father's state with the news of Alpha Caspian's death.
