LYRA’S POV
I turned in the soft bed, eyes closed as I relished the cloudy feeling of the mattress. My eyes fluttered open and I saw a light string cast from the open window.
My senses kicked in and I realised I was in an unfamiliar room. I jolted off the bed with suspicious eyes as I looked around. My head hurt from the sudden movement and there was a sore between my legs.
I winced, feeling like my head was about to explode. A cold breeze entered the house and I shivered, noticing I was naked. Shocked by my naked state, I coaxed my brains, trying to jog up the night’s events as I covered myself with a robe.
My face burned with embarrassment as the memories from the night before hit me, and the sore between my legs suddenly made more sense. I couldn’t believe what I’d done.
