Jeremy has been behaving strange lately, it's been about six months since I came back and he met his daughter. He loves her so much, no one can be mistaken about that. But nowadays he seems a bit distant. I don't know what it is. His thoughts always seem to be elsewhere.
"Maybe you're just mistaken", Lacey says, cradling her three-month-old son Tobias.
"Maybe, but I don't know", I say. "Yesterday I was talking to him about going to see his father in the afternoon, and I got the answer that he loves orange. He hadn't even been listening to what I had talked to him about".
"Okay, he's behaving strangely", Kenna says with a hand on her small baby bump.
"He really is, and I can't put my finger on it, but I know he's hiding something", I say.
