Chapter 12
Kayleigh
After a long and straining car ride, I stop the car outside the house. The house is placed right beside the lake. It's really pretty out here. Big lawn, trees around, and the lake with the calm blue water.
"It's so pretty", Gwen says.
She's still a bit mad at me for forcing her to ignore Rory and change the phone.
"Remember your name?" I ask Gwen.
"Yeah, Kayleigh!" She says.
"What is it then?" I ask her.
"Sally".
"Exactly, and what is Tony's new name?" I ask.
"Robert", Gwen says annoyed.
"And my new name?" I ask finally.
"Mandy!" Gwen says angry and steps out of the car.
She doesn't want to change names. But she doesn't have a choice. We're doing this, and we're doing it the right way.
From now on, I'm Mandy, when I talk to other people.
