As the car pulled up to the apartment, fear started to overtake my senses. My nerves were getting the best of me. We locked all the doors, and positioned ourselves in a room. There, we waited. Expecting the best, but not ruling out the worst. The tension was loud. The air weary. Thoughts were running through my mind.
