I got out of the car and followed him with my head down. This is the first time I’ve felt out of place and embarrassed. I didn’t like it. Anxiety ate at me and I could barely keep my cool. I caught up with Jacob in hopes he had calmed down. “I’m sorry Jacob.” “It’s Master to you now. Or at least until I get you handled.” He grumbled, unlocking and opening the door to his mansion. “I’m sorry Master.” I re-apologized. “Go sit on the couch until I say so.” He ordered and I did as he said. The couch was a light brown, cloth, large, sitting area that was actually quite comfortable. I curled up in a ball and tried to pretend I didn't exist. Tears threatened to fall down my face, but I took a deep breath and tried to calm my anxiety. Did they tell him about my meds?  Please, tell me they did. I don't want to ask him, but I need to. I will be a nervous wreck without it. I don’t want to get into trouble, though. Wow, Callie Nova Gram doesn’t want trouble. There really is a first time for everything. He walked into another room and it seemed as though he was the phone. I made out a few words but not enough to form a synopsis. I chewed on my bottom lip, a bad habit I do when I’m nervous and my leg bounced up and down on the floor unconsciously. My hands were shaking and I interlaced them so I wasn’t so obvious. I laid against the back of the couch and closed my eyes. I didn’t even know I had fallen asleep until I had woken up. Jacob answered the door so the knock was probably the source as to what had awoken me. Two buff men stood at the door and Jacob welcomed them inside. Black metal that looked like the sides of a massive dog cage. I gulped when I realized what it was. “Where would you like it?” One of the two men asked but I was too distressed to see which one.  “My room. It’s upstairs, the first door on the left.” Jacob clarified. The two men went upstairs and started building the cage. Jacob and I made eye contact and I quickly turned my head away. I heard his footsteps and my heartbeat quickened. I heard him sit beside me and I curled more into myself. I was scared for myself. He scooted closer, exactly what I was afraid of. I felt his hand on my back and I jumped. I looked at him hesitantly. He gave me a somber look and sent me a sad smile.  “I know you’re scared and I would be too, but you need to understand that there are consequences for your actions. I can’t have you do that again. So until you learned your lesson, you will be staying in your cage unless I have you out, and the shock collar will remain on in case you decide to smart off again.” He explained I don’t know what it was but something inside me broke. I felt the tears fall and I began sobbing. Callie Nova Gram crying because she’s getting punished. How pathetic. These thoughts only made me cry more. Jacob pulled me into a hug and before I knew it, I was sitting on his lap, hugging him. “This is only temporary if you behave.” He cooed. “And if I don’t?” I questioned out of curiosity. “A cage will seem like a misdemeanor.” He warned with a low rumble. I could feel my hands tremble. I'm scared, no, I'm terrified.  "W-W-Why did you decide to buy a pet?" I asked skittishly.  "I wanted a wife and I decided to look at the store first. I found you and I knew what our future would hold." He stated while stroking my hair gently. One of his hands went up the back of my shirt and I squirmed slightly. His warm hand on my cold skin relaxed me some and I closed my eyes.  I became startled when I heard the door shut and I jumped a little in Jacob's lap. He chuckled and adjusted himself a little underneath me. I then realized that it was as if I had bounced on his lap and I flushed from embarrassment. "How about we go upstairs and check out your cage and talk about a few rules to start out with." He offered. "Okay." I nodded. He stood up and so did I. I followed him up the stairs and into a dark room. He turned on the light and all I could see was green. Different shades but mostly a dark, forest green. The walls, desk, chair, bed, everything was green.  Except for the cage. It was a bright pink and had some type of animal print on the lock.  The bedding looked quite nice. I hoped it was softer than the beds I was used to but that was probably too much to hope for. There was also a black silk bag on his bed embroidered with the word 'toys'. I almost lost whatever my last meal was. He hurried and grabbed the bag and chucked it under the bed. "They were supposed to put that under the bed." He muttered at the floor before his gaze turned back to me. "That was free with the cage and that was the only one left in stock. I personally prefer something of a darker color, but it is what it is." "Green?" "What?" "When you said you prefer a darker color, did you mean green? I mean, it's not like it's obvious." I asked, my sass coming through a little. "Perhaps." He smiled. "So, Callie, what do you do for fun?" "I like to get in fights." I answered without thinking. "I mean- I like to read."  He chuckled a little and shook his head. "Did I ever tell you how cute you were?" He smirked.  He stepped closer and I took a step back. "Um… No?"  "Well you are like a doe. Beautiful and seemingly harmless. But I know you are far more than innocent. You've probably had a couple rounds with your dealer or something of that nature." He accused me. "You're wrong." I announced, standing my ground. He took a few more steps forward until we were almost touching. "Really? How lucky am I to be your first? Let me answer that for you. Exceptionally lucky.” He smiled and leaned down. “What’re you doing?”  “What do you think?” Our lips touched and my whole world erupted.
