“Did he contest the divorce?” Clarisa asked making some more notes. “Whatever happened with that woman and baby?”
“He did not. And I don’t know her story. I never cared to find out either.” Trinity said harshly. “After all the trouble of attempting to help me get over my ex-husband, he completely destroyed my trust in men.”
“Did you ever ask him why?” The to the point question made her freeze when she went to take a drink of water. “Why he cheated on you or why he pretended to not know you?”
Trinity thought back to when they met again for the divorce proceedings and frowned. She could not manage any more than a glare when she looked at him and her heart was destroyed in the aftermath of his infidelity. Giving word to her questions had never came to her
