~~~~~Jeriah~~~~~ “The person next to Jacob is my lead editor, Miss Melody Frank.” Jeriah continued, to which Trinity nodded with a stiff smile. “She will be working closely with you and I on the final pieces of the project.” “I see. Nice to meet you, Miss Frank.” Trinity continued before looking at the people on her side of the table. “This here is Thomas Addison, my manager, the President of my Publishing Firm Butterfly Books, Martin Schultz, my editor Jane Goodwell, and of course, I’m Trinity Faith.”                 After that, dinner was served so they ate quietly for a few moments before a small conversation started up over each of their achievements. Jeriah found his eyes kept drifting to Trinity during this conversation, watching as she would sink into thought before replying. She seemed to take things very seriously and thoroughly thought of a reply before speaking. Even sitting as she was, Jeriah could tell she had the attention of everyone in the room. “So, what are your goals for the movie, Mister Coster?” She asked, turning to catch his gaze. “Everyone has their thoughts, but I’m quite curious to hear yours.” “Well, that’s quite simple, really. I became a fan of your work, and love a challenge.” His reply slightly annoyed her because his smirk told her that applied to her as well. “I want to make you the best movie ever.” ~~~~~Trinity~~~~~                 As the conversation drifts to profits, Trinity closes her mouth. Where she is concerned, she has already made enough money to take care of herself, so this is for her fans not profit. Not one to care, regardless, several numbers are listed off as she twiddles her thumbs and waits for any further input needed from her. She had always hated meetings like this. Thomas nudged her waist before continuing to discuss a few other numbers, mostly percentages. “What about you, Miss Faith?” Jeriah asked, making her side shift nervously. “I’ve heard everyone’s opinion but yours.”                 Meeting his gaze, Trinity thought of how best to respond to him without sounding extremely callous. She knew he was just trying to include her in the discussion, but she felt slightly annoyed by it. Clearly, it was in her best interest to keep her response kinder than she would normally, but she really wanted to lay into him for it. Everyone she brought to the meeting already knew where she stood. “I leave the decision to them. By this point, I’m making plenty to take care of myself, so I don’t really care about personal gain.” Trinity replied, propping her head up on her fist. “This is for fans or people that have never read the book, not me. As long as it’s done right, profit isn’t an issue for me.”                 Jeriah seemed surprised by that before sinking into a silence she had not expected. Had he never met someone who cared for their fans? That wanted to satisfy their fans? Meeting his eyes, Jeriah simply smirked again. She felt annoyed for even giving him a response. “Don’t let that bother you, Mister Coster. Trin has always been like that when it comes to profits. At least since her first book hit stores three years ago. As long as she makes enough for what she feels the book, or in this case movie, is worth, she’ll be fine.” Thomas said causing her to nod with a smile. “What are you thinking in terms of budget, Mister Coster?” ~~~~~Jeriah~~~~~                 It had been a few days, in and out of meetings with Trinity’s team to discuss the terms of the contract. Today, the final contract would be presented and any changes that needed to be made would be before they left. Trinity had been a breath of fresh air during all of these meetings, the knowledge she brought concerning her story almost flawless. It was rare to find someone at this stage in their career still solely focused on pleasing their fans.                 Walking towards the conference room at her publishing firm with three lawyers, Jeriah smirked to himself. She was talented at avoiding being alone with him, and brushed off any of his flirts with a seemingly practiced hand. Hopefully, he would have a better chance when they actually started on the movie, so he could find out how far he could push. Opening the door, his eyes immediately found her. “Good to see you, Trinity.” Jeriah said smirking when she glared at him. “I’m looking forward to having the contract signed today. The sooner we can get started, the better.”                 Her eyes seemed to roll at that before she looked at the paperwork in her hands. Her irritation could be felt in the entire room causing the corner of his lip to curve up. They had only been talking for about two weeks trying to get this in motion, but apparently, he was at the top of her list of annoyances. Not that he minded, of course, as that meant she viewed him as a man. If she hated the idea so much, why did she agree to make the movie with him? “Everything looks alright as far as I’m concerned.” She started, her lips pursing before she pointed at one of the pages. “Could you explain this part to me?”                 The man behind her leaned over to take a look, reading the words before explaining to her in a clear and concise manner. Jeriah turned back to his own copy and began reading, the words barely registering as all his energy was focused on the slightest movement Trinity made. It was clear to him that everyone in the room was focused on her as well, which surprised him slightly. There was this energy surrounding her that drew the eye.
