Rocky watched the nurse leave his room and wondered if he was ever going to get out of there. He hadn’t heard anything about Nikki’s hearing, and he was crawling out of his skin waiting for news.
“Nothing?” he asked Mason for the hundredth time.
Mason checked his phone again and shook his head. “I will let you know.”
Rocky groaned. He hated being stuck in a bed. When he was in the hospital for his donation surgery, he could move around and went to visit Sly every day. This time, there was nowhere for him to go, and they wouldn’t even let him use the bathroom on his own. He was losing his mind.
