On getting to the huge gates of the pack, I started noticing a kind of smell. It was confusing. I couldn't tell if Kol smelt it too. It seemed like there were rogues and in the next instant, the smell was hard to predict, confusing my wolf senses.
"Do you smell something?"
Kol asked as the chief security guard was about opening the smaller part of the last gate that led to outside of the pack. There were two huge gates and the first one was designed to send an alarm across the entire pack, in case of a suspected attack from rogues once rogues were spotted.
"Yes. Kind of confusing. Could they be rogues?"
"Rogues are meant to attack us, to be violent. But the guard said there were only three of them. Let's watch and see, but don't get too close to them."
