“You sent those men?” Kael asked as he sat on the chair.
Jed bowed slightly. “Yes. They are with the slave at this moment.”
Kael hummed as a response. Then smiling, he shut his eyes and sighed. “Great. Can I take a nap now?”
Jed’s face twitched. He wanted to say something when there was a knock on the door. “Who is it?”
“Alpha Prince Kael, Master Jed, Romeo is here to see you both.”
Jed glanced at the alpha prince who was now lying down on his chair, his back and his legs hinged up without care. He sighed and spoke instead, “Let him in.”
A man wearing a tie around his head entered. He looked at Kael once then knelt on one knee. “Alpha Prince, it is I, your messenger Romeo. I have come to report about an incident.”
