Everly was shocked by the waves of emotion that were beating against her. Such that she found herself sobbing unconsolably into his chest. Michael held her without saying a single word until she stopped on her own.
"Feeling good?" He asked. Anyone would've thought it was a weird question to ask someone, especially after they've been crying. But Everly instantly understood what the question meant. So much had been going on inside her in the past few moments, and she had finally managed to get it all out with the tears.
"Yeah, I feel better now." She murmured into his chest still.
