Everly walked into the house, to find Michael napping on the couch.
"Oh, you're back." He said,watching her enter from under lowered eyelashes.
"You're always home early these days, what's going on?" She sat near his feet. She had intended to ask him the same question even last night,in order to understand why Claire was able to find him in the house in the first place. But in light of everything that ended up going down,she didn't get the chance nor did she remember to ask.
"My work load is lighter these days, and as a result I leave the office earlier than before." Michael sat up. "Are you complaining?"
