A small smile broke on Everly's face when she heard his footsteps approaching the door, about half an hour later. He took in the scene in front of him as soon as he opened; and the first thing he noticed was that she really was on the couch. "I thought you were bluffing." He said as he approached the couch. "I don't bluff," Everly retorted, sitting up. "I know that now. So what went wrong with your little plan?"
