Kabanata 5 : Dream
Geordi's Point of View
"I think it will be more better if we just kill them." saad ng isang lalakeng naka-itim na cloak.
The other man shook his head simultaneously.
"No. Mapapakinabangan pa natin yan when the time comes. Sa ngayon-"
My dream was interrupted when a loud voice shouted my name.
"Geordi!" Celestia shouted. She rushed at me and smacked my head.
"Aray! Bakit ba?" I asked while scrubbing my head.
"Abnormal ka no? Sabi ng wag na pumasok eh' lagi nang pabida." inirapan niya ako at saka dinaldal.
Marami siyang sinasabi pero parang lipad ang utak ko.
It's been a moth since I felt something weird. Lagi akong nahihilolo at nanghihina ang katawan. I always dreamt of that scene over and iver again.
I'm f*****g scared! Hindi ko alam kung anong nangyayari sa katawan ko.
"Celestia." tinawag ko ang kaibigan at humarap sa kaniya. "What if hindi ako tao?"
"So hayop ka?" nasira ang kaseryosohan ko sa tanong niya.
Kung pwede lang gamitin ang spells ko sa kaniya matagal ko nang pinatalas ang isip nito!
"Hindi. I mean what if i'm not really normal? Na isa ako sa mga wizards dito?" tanong ko sa kaniya. She just pouted and put her hands on her chin like thinking.
"That's good then, but of course I'll get sad coz' you know I've been clinging on to you because your just like me." namutla ako sa sinabi niya.
"So you mean k-kapag hindi t-talaga a-ako tao l-layuan mo a-ako?" nauutal na ako at hindi ko alam kung bakit!
"Syempre hindi abnormal ka ba talaga?" tanong niya sa akin. Tiningnan niya ako habang nakaismid. Maya-maya ay nanlaki ang mata niya.
"Hala! Bakit nag-iiba ang kulay ng linings mo? Bakit nagiging indigo?" napatingin ako sa uniform ko.
She's right! Nag-iiba nga ang kulay nito.
Kaninang umaga ay hindi niya pansin pero ang kulay ng linings nang uniform ay nagblack hanggang sa bumalik ulit sa violet at ngayon naman ay naging indigo.
What's really going on with me?
"Can I ask you a favor?" napatingin sa akin si Celestia. Kumunot ang noo niya at pinagtaasan ako ng kilay.
"Spill it." I sighed buti na lang at mabait ang bestfriend ko!
"Please find the book about wizards history and wizards characteristics." I said.
Nanlaki ang mata niya at inirapan ako.
"Aba! Napakadali naman nang pinapagawa mo!" she sarcastically said to me.
Tumingin ako sa kaniya at nagpacute. I know she can't resist me.
She sighed and nodded at me.
"Yes! Thank you Celestia lab you." I said ang hugged her. She just make faced bago umalis.
Now if my spectaculactions is right I need to immediately inform Sir Cad about this. Gosh!
"Tsk. Alam mo na pero itinatanggi mo pa." napatalon ako sa gulat dahil sa nagsalita.
My cheeks heated instantly when I saw Aramis leaning in the clinic's door.
"W-what?" I stammered.
Damn! Bakit nandito ang gwapong nilalang na ito? Don't tell me
binibisita niya ako?
"You're denying it." he said then left the clinic.
My jaw dropped at what he said. He knew it? Paano at bakit?
Kung nagsasabi man siya ng totoo I still need a confirmation kaya nga ipinapahanap ko kay Celestia ang libro.
I hope she's okay.
Celestia's Point of View
I'm not okay! Kanina pa ako nagkakandaligaw-ligaw dito letse.
Sa sobrang daming libro dito sa library naiwala ko na din pati ang sarili ko!
Oh how I hate books.
Tumingin ako sa bawat section ng books dito pero nakakainis dahil hindi ko pa din mahanap ang wizards section.
"Uhm. Miss saan po ba yung wizard book section?" I asked the librarian.
She looked at me and pointed the right side of the library.
"Last to the right side." tumango ako at nagpasalamat.
I'm so stupid! Bakit ngayon ko lang kase naisipang magtanong no?
Dumiretso ako sa sinabi ng matanda.
Last to the right? Eh nasa fifth line pa lang ako e.
I frustayedly passed the fifth shelves when something hit my head.
"Shit." I cussed silently. Tiningnan ko kung ano ang naglaglag at nakita ang isang libro.
I looked around kung may tao pero wala.
Enchanters Book.
Binuklat ko ito at napatapat sa lost enchantress. I sit there and read the book.
It is said that the enchantress only exists every one thousand years. And if not mistaken she can manipulate most of the major enchants but can't heal herself.
Amazing?
Isasara ko na sana itong libro nang may mahagip ang mata ko. It is said that even though the enchantress can manipulate everything hindi naman niya kayang magcast ng spell.
Weird.
I shrugged at ibinalik ang libro sa shelves. I then headed to last shelves and fortunately found the two books.
Inilista ko ang pangalan ko sa borrowers list at saka pumirma.
"I didn't know your a bookworm." a cold voice interrupted me.
My heart thumped very fast when I saw Zacchaeus leaning his back on the library's door.
"I-it's not for me." I said a matter of fact. But damn! Why am i stammering?
"I understand. Don't forget about tomorrow." he said leaving my jaw dropped.
What the hell? Ano bang trip niya at nilapitan niya ako. Well, baka naman napadaan lang at syempre masyado namang bastos kung hindi niya man lang ako papansinin right?
My heart sank. Oh come on! You're different to him. Don't dare.
I weakly walks my way to the clinic.
"Here." I handed Geordi the books she requested then sat on the chair beside the bed.
"Thank you!" she thanked me but i just nodded at her.
The f**k is wrong with me? I just stared blankly at the floor while Geordi is busy reading the books.
Ano kaya kung naging katulad na lang din nila ako? Kahit hindi enchanter kahit wizard lang. But what am I supposed to do?
Walang magagawa ang sana ko dahil hindi naman ito isang magical movie na katulad nang kay Cinderella na magkakaroon siya ng isang fairy godmother to gave her what she wanted.
I sighed. Kahit hindi ko aminin sa sarili ko ay pilit pa ding lumalabas na gusto kong mapabilang sa kanila hindi lang dahil sa gusto kundi dahil...
"Tara na?" I nodded at Geordi and assist her to stand properly.
Nang makarating sa dorm ay agad akong humilata sa kama.
"Anong gagawin niyo para sa event?" tanong ko kay Geordi.
She shifted her gaze to me and answered.
"Kami ang bahala sa menus. Obviously, it's Aramis' idea." tumikhim siya at muling nagbasa.
Nang dahil na rin siguro sa katahimikan ay agad akong nakatulog.
Two angels were crying. And a woman is fighting the man in a black cloak.
"Please let us live!" the woman shouted before throwing a ball of light.
Everything went white as the ball of light hits the man's body.
Then suddenly the place shifted into a very dark park.
The woman is struggling to walk as she's full of bruises and blood all over her body, while carrying the two babies.
"I'm sorry. I think i can't do this anymore." the woman then collapses on the floor but still, protecting the babies.
"You can't run away from me." a man in a cloak appeared and harshly get the babies from the woman.
"Let's say I'll spare their lives but not yours." then the man fired a dark ball that made everything went black.
"Are you okay?" I looked at Geordi and see myself sweating very much.
"I am." I said then quickly went to bathroom.
I looked at myself on the mirror. I unconsciously touched my birthmark.
It is f*****g itching. Binuklat ko ang damit ko only to find out that my birthmark is turning red.
"What's this?" I blankly said while staring at my birthmark.
This is very weird. Really really weird.
Napapikit ako bigla dahil sa kirot ng ulo. Nang magmulat ako ng mata ay wala akong maramdaman kundi ang hilo.
"f**k what's wrong?" I murmured as I opened the comfort room's door.
"Oh my god! Anong nangyayari?" I heard Geordi's voice as I went out from the bathroom.
"Masaket lang ang ulo ko." I said. Inalalayan niya ako pero bago pa ako makarating sa kama ko ay nawalan ako ng balanse.
"s**t!" Geordi's cussed filled the whole room.
Umiikot na ang buong paningin ko pero bago iton ay naramdaman ko ang pagbukas ng pinto namin.
In just a span of seconds ay nakita ko na si Sir Cad na buhat buhat ako papunta sa clinic.
I wake up feeling very dizzy. Nang tingnan ko ang paligid ay hindi ako nagkamali dahil nasa clinic nga ako.
Nakita ko si Geordi sa may gilid ng kama habang mahimbing ang tulog.
"You're awake..." napatingin ako sa harapan ko at napahawak sa dibdib.
"You scared me." saad ko habang pinamumulahan ng pisngi.
I never thought that I will see Zacchaeus' face just right after having a crisis.
"Are you okay?" I nodded at his question. He just stood there while looking at me kaya mas lalong pumula ang pisngi ko.
"W-why are you here?" tanong ko. He just raised his brow at me.
"Don't like me here?" tanong niya. Bago pa ako maka-angal ay agad siyang umayos ng tayo at nilagay ang kamay sa bulsa. "The feeling is mutual. I can't do anything but to wait for you to wake up because Sir Cad said so. But since you're now looking fine I guess my task is done." malamig niyang saad bago ako iwanan doon.
I swallowed hard. Don't cry you fool! Lalake lang yan, hindi dapat iniiyakan.
But damn! It hurts. Kailangan pa bang ipamukha na he's just being ordered kaya niya ginagawa ito?
I looked up to prevent my tears from falling.
Hindi ko alam kung kailan pa ako nagkaroon ng pagkagusto sa kaniya. All i know is i fall for him really fast....
I never thought that my first heart break will happen here. Funny right?
"Gising ka na pala." napatingin ako kay Geordi mg sabihin niya yun. She's rubbing her eyes.
Tumango ako at tumayo. She looked at me confusedly.
"Uwi na tayo." I said to her mabilis niya naman akong sinundan palabas ng pinto.
"Medyo mahaba rin ang itinulog mo. Mag-aalasingko na nang umaga." I nodded at her and sighed.
"Anong oras ako dinala sa clinic?" tanong ko sa kaniya.
"If I'm not mistaken around twelve ng magising at magcollapse ka." napatango ako pero agad kumunot ang noo.
"Nasaan si Sir Cad?" nagkibit balikat siya sa akin.
"Ewan. Pagkadala niya sayo sa clinic ay agad siyang umalis." she said. Kumunot ang noo niya. "What bothers me the most is... how did he know na nawalan ka ng malay? How did he know that you're going to collapse?"
Napatango ako. Maging ako ay yun din ang tanong. Kung bakit nandoon siya agad ng mawawalan pa lang ako ng malay.
"Bakit nandoon si Zacchaeus sa clinic?" napalunok ako ng maitanong iyon sa kaniya.
"Huh? Nandoon ba siya? Ewan ko di ko nakita eh. Nakatulog na agad ako." napakamot siya sa batok at tumawa bago ako hinampas. "Ikaw talaga. Siguro may gusto ka kay Zacchaeus no?"
Namula agad ako sa tanong niya kaya umuna na ako sa lakad. Sinundot niya naman ang tagiliran ko at inasar ako.
"Wala akong gusto don' no!" I stated. She just smirked at me then enter our room.
I should get this feeling out of my system. Hindi ko dapat magustuhan si Zacchaeus dahil kapag nalaman nila ito ay baka hindi lang mga slime ang abutin ko sa mga fangirls niya.
Someone's Point of View
"They are starting it. We should too." I said as i watched him sipped his wine.
He shook his head and looked at me with dark eyes.
"Are you insane? If they're starting to search then let them move. Saka lang tayo kikilos kapag talagang napatunayan na nila." he smirked and laughed.
"But the spy said-" napatigil ako sa pagsasalita ng tapunan ako ng matalim na tingin ni Dad.
"I don't care about what the spy said. Just let them give us the information we need." he said a matter of fact. I just nodded as a sign of defeat.
I trust him in his plan. The victory is ours. I'll get our freedom.
