I was trying really hard to stand down and not attack him. I wanted him to make the first move. I wanted him to attack any one of us so that I could go and attack. I am assuming that my mother-in-law thought of the same thing. The second that the words left Elijah’s mouth saying that Alex had been killed because of me, Steven went to make a move toward Elijah, and Paula jumped toward Steven. Everything happened so fast that I was even confused. I plunged forward to attack Steven, but he had already gotten hold of Paula’s left leg, leaving her howling in pain.
