8 DARREN The first thing Cheyenne asks when she hears me on the phone is, “What’s wrong?” Everything. But I can only tell you some of it. “Hiltman has been keeping tabs on Abrams. I don’t know why. I suspect he is plotting to snatch those patents, but there may be more to it.” “Crap. Okay. So now what?” I hear the rustle of her puttering around.
