FADE IN: INT. ABANDONED SCIENCE BUILDING – CONTINUOUS The steel door stood silently at the bottom of the staircase. Its black surface reflected the flashing emergency lights. Painted across it in white letters were the words: SEVENTH DOOR No handle. No keypad. No visible lock. Only a circular symbol of a bell was engraved in the center. Maya slowly descended the staircase. Every step echoed through the narrow passage. Jordan followed close behind. "Maya..." She didn't answer. Her eyes remained fixed on the door. INT. STAIRCASE LANDING Mr. Ellis stopped everyone before they reached the bottom. "No one touches it." Emma looked at him. "Why?" "Because I've heard stories about this place." "What kind of stories?" Mr. Ellis took a deep breath. "When I first started working at Westbrook, an old janitor warned me that there were seven doors beneath the school." Jordan frowned. "I thought there was only one." "So did I." "The old man said each door protected a different secret." Emma crossed her arms. "And the seventh?" Mr. Ellis looked at the steel door. "He told me no one was supposed to find it." INT. SEVENTH DOOR CHAMBER Maya noticed something carved into the stone floor. It was almost invisible beneath years of dust. She knelt and brushed it clean. A sentence appeared. The seventh door does not imprison the truth. It imprisons the one who knows it. Jordan swallowed. "That's... unsettling." Before anyone could speak again— The cassette recorder in Maya's backpack suddenly clicked on by itself. Caleb's voice returned. Clearer this time. "If the tape starts playing again..." "...it means you're standing where I once stood." Everyone stared at the recorder. No one had touched it. Caleb continued. "Listen carefully." "The Seventh Door isn't opened with a key." "It's opened with a choice." Then... The recording stopped. INT. SEVENTH DOOR CHAMBER – MOMENTS LATER Emma walked around the room, shining her flashlight across the walls. "There has to be a mechanism." Jordan noticed seven stone pillars arranged in a circle around the door. Each pillar bore a different symbol. A bell. A key. A lantern. A feather. An eye. A clock. And the final pillar... Was completely blank. Maya reached out toward the blank pillar. The moment her fingers touched it— Every symbol glowed with a faint blue light. The steel door vibrated. A hidden speaker crackled to life. A calm voice echoed through the chamber. Identity confirmed. Everyone froze. The voice continued. Welcome... Maya Thompson. Emma stared at Maya. "It knows your name." Jordan whispered, "How?" The speaker answered before anyone asked another question. Awaiting final authorization. The blue lights went dark. Silence returned. INT. SEVENTH DOOR CHAMBER – CONTINUOUS Suddenly— Footsteps echoed from the staircase above. Fast. Several people. Grant rushed down the stairs, breathing heavily. "Get away from the door!" Maya turned. "What happened?" Grant looked over his shoulder. "They're coming." "Who?" "The people the Director has been hiding from." Before anyone could ask another question, a loud explosion shook the abandoned science building. Dust poured from the ceiling. The lights flickered out. In the darkness, another voice echoed from the top of the stairs. Cold. Confident. "You've run out of places to hide." A flashlight beam cut through the darkness. Then another. Then another. Whoever had arrived... They weren't here to search. They were here to capture someone. To be continued in Episode 7 – Part 2...
