FADE IN: INT. SEVENTH DOOR CHAMBER – CONTINUOUS The floor cracked beneath their feet. Thin lines spread across the stone like lightning. Dust poured from the ceiling. The alarm grew louder. Containment protocol activated. Evacuate immediately. Jordan grabbed Maya's arm. "We have to move!" Before they could run, the trembling stopped. Everything became eerily quiet. Then... A deep THUMP echoed from behind the Seventh Door. One heartbeat. A few seconds later... Another. THUMP. Emma looked around nervously. "Tell me that's not coming from behind the door." No one answered. INT. SEVENTH DOOR CHAMBER – MOMENTS LATER The Director returned through the hidden side passage, breathing hard. Grant was with him. Victor Hale was nowhere to be seen. "Where's Victor?" Jordan asked. "He escaped through an older passage," Grant replied. "He knows these tunnels as well as we do." The Director walked straight to the steel door. He placed his hand on the bell symbol. His expression changed. "It's waking up faster than I expected." Maya stepped beside him. "What is waking up?" The Director looked at her. "Not a person." "Not a machine." "A system." INT. CHAMBER – CONTINUOUS Mr. Ellis frowned. "A system?" The Director nodded. "The Founder designed a network of hidden mechanisms beneath Westbrook." "It recorded meetings." "Protected records." "Locked away evidence." "And if someone tampered with it..." He glanced at the cracked floor. "It would seal every underground passage." Emma sighed in relief. "So it's not some monster." "No." The Director paused. "But if the system seals itself..." "Everything hidden below the school may be lost forever." Jordan looked at Noah's notebook. "Then Noah was trying to stop this." "Yes," the Director said. "And now you have to finish what he started." INT. THE STAIRCASE As the group climbed back toward the abandoned science building, Maya noticed something on the wall. Fresh chalk writing. It hadn't been there before. She shone her flashlight on it. It read: MAYA, DON'T BELIEVE THE NEXT TRUTH. Jordan frowned. "Who wrote that?" Grant examined the writing. "The chalk is fresh." "The person who wrote it is still nearby." The group searched the staircase. No one. Only silence. INT. ABANDONED SCIENCE LAB They emerged into the old laboratory. The cracked mirror still stood open. Sunlight was beginning to shine through the dusty windows. Everything looked peaceful. Too peaceful. Emma picked up the cassette recorder. "There's another tape inside." Maya looked surprised. "There wasn't before." Emma pressed the eject button. A small folded note had been hidden beneath the cassette. She unfolded it. Her eyes widened. "What is it?" Jordan asked. Emma slowly handed it to Maya. The note read: If Emma is still with you... She has already saved your life once. She just doesn't remember it. Emma stared at the note in disbelief. "What does that mean?" Mr. Ellis looked just as confused. "I've never seen anything like this." For the second time, someone had left a message about Emma. The first warned Maya not to bring her. Now this one claimed Emma had once saved her. The messages contradicted each other. Someone wanted Maya confused. Or someone was finally correcting an earlier lie. EXT. WESTBROOK HIGH – LATE AFTERNOON As they stepped outside, students were leaving school, laughing and talking as though nothing unusual had happened. Maya looked up at the clocktower. The ancient bell was perfectly still. Then her phone vibrated. Another message from the unknown sender. This one contained no words. Only a photograph. It showed Maya as a little girl, standing beside a boy she now recognized as Caleb. In the background stood a woman. Her face was partially hidden by the shadows. But around her neck... Hung the same silver locket that now belonged to Maya. Jordan looked over Maya's shoulder. "Who's the woman?" Maya shook her head. "I don't know." Then she noticed the timestamp printed on the bottom of the photograph. One day after Mara Thompson disappeared. Before Maya could say another word, the phone screen went black. A new message appeared. Find the woman in the photograph... before the fourth bell rings. Maya looked toward the clocktower. For the first time, she realized the race wasn't just to uncover the truth. It was to uncover it... before time ran out. To be continued in Episode 7 – Part 5...
