The feeling tugged at me, everything felt like a terrible cramp. My vision returned, and I was in a crowd of guards. Fear rushed through my body and made my hair stand on end, Where is Sir Kratos?! . I scanned the rows of seats. Your fear.... I heard Nychta exclaim, Stop it, stop it.. I pushed the thought out and took my seat. Everyone was wearing black, so I was an eyecatcher wearing white, and I was a rookie. We were in a large dark cave, the only thing that provided light in the room a single bulb hanging from a silver coffin. A black podium was standing proud behind the silver coffin, the coffin was the only thing in the room that was filled with light. I continued to look through the rows when my eyes stopped on someone wearing a NMP disguise. Laya? I thought, but the figure didn't move, Harold?, I hoped. Ntérek? , I thought with dread. But none of the names turned it's head, and when I tried to tap into it's mind all I read was, Terrible... Terrible..... " Welcome my fellow guardians, " Dave said, all eyes turned to him as he stepped behind the podium. You can call a group of guards guardians? Note taken. "And rookie, " Dave said saluting to me, all eyes turned on me. My stomach twisted into knots, " Guilty. " I said a loud under my breath. Thankfully that stirred up a few laughs that broke the uneasiness. It didn't last long though. " Thank you all for joining us, my sister in law insisted on this funeral. I'm thankful everyone made it here, safe and sound. " He faltered and stared into the open coffin. Guilt washed over me, If we hadn't gone she would've never helped us, and she would be alive, now. Chills ran up and down my spine, Ponder on it, will you? . Nychta hissed. You CAN'T be scared. I forced all the guilt and fear down, a big lump formed in my throat along with it. Then the obituary started, " She was a woman who was fierce, yet so motherly. She had a heart of gold indeed.." . I was truly trying to pay attention, but I kept hearing Nychta's voice in the back of my mind. Stop it- I told her voice, for a while during the funeral everything was quiet and sad. I'd rather not tell that part of my story. The funeral was ending when the person in the black cloak walked straight up to the open coffin. I remained in my seat, observing it. I could just imagine her deranged eyes and her dreadful dislocated body. Emotion was about to rush through me when I thought, No emotion - . But imagining her dead carcass, emotion surged through me, and before I knew it I was right alongside the figure in front of the open coffin. The cave was cold and damp, and now that I had more light I realized the figure was twice my size. The figure chuckled, What's so funny about a funeral?. I felt slightly offended, " You don't need to question me child.." . I raised my hand to his cloak, an uneasy feeling hung in the air. Snap! He was staring straight at me with eyes glowing with power, Sir Kratos! . I smacked my wrists together, but he just moved a few inches back before he slammed me against the wall, with his bare fists. My body shook as I struggled to rise to my feet, I bit my tongue. Guardians ran back in, and they knew they were in trouble. Still aching, Sir Kratos picked up the open coffin and heaved it out the cave. The guards and I took a stand, Delma an Dave charged him with a mighty roar! Alongside them was the guardians, with the power I had saved up I soared through the air and with a ghostly dagger I stabbed him in the back. Delma sliced his cloak to shreds, and Dave attacked the vulnerable spots. Sir Kratos thrashed, for I was hanging on his back from a single ghostly dagger. His eyes locked on mine, and suddenly, I lost all control of magic. The dagger disappeared, and I slammed to the ground below. Come on Allison! You've been training since September, USE. YOUR. SKILLS. I rose from the ground, and suddenly I found my instinct. I took full control of my magic and followed the instinct. With the dagger in my hand and my instincts in control I could've been a mindless monster, Full, Control... He threw Delma and five others off his back, GO! . For the next few minutes I was the strongest I'd ever been, Jump, Duck, s***h, Side step, crawl, stab, duck, s***h- . But before I could hit the ground below, Sir Kratos snatched me with his ginormous hands and began to squeeze. My life flashed before my eyes, just like they did when he killed Jolene. I pounded on his fists, trying to break free from the powerful grasp. Delma pulled my legs from below and I slammed into the floor, I was wasted, and my body felt like it was on fire. My eyelids got heavy, Delma was with me and trying to get me to snap out of it. But before I knew it I passed out with the sound of the battle behind me..
