Chapter 6......... Unexpected Visit.....

Alarms blazed and red lights blinded us, " Protesters! This is the perfect time for training!" the woman said. She rallied up the 50 guards in training and sent them through the door. " This is a chance to prove yourselves worthy, not just in the GARE! But in combat as well!" A sly smile spread across her face, "Using only your hands..." a few murmured worried comments, but this was it. This place was more twisted than it seemed, I had to tell the protesters Im on their side! That I was only here to find out the secret behind the guard society! The woman led us through the arena and separated the boys from the girls, we changed into paper thin clothes... How are we supposed to wear these?? Long sleeve shirts and pants, paper thin! If the protesters carried guns forget about it! WE'RE DEAD MEAT!! But this was my only chance to warn the protesters, and to earn the benefits of Sir Kratos... Maybe if I became an honorable guard he'd tell me more! First I have to get rid of this crippling fear to talk to a Kratos... With no weapons available to us it seemed like a soon to be m******e! The entrance was bombarded by protesters, people of all ages. As soon as the guards pulled out their guns the seniors fled, THANK GOODNESS.... I could imagine my fate in the newspaper, TEENAGE GIRL ENROLLED IN GUARD SCHOOL AND STRANGLED SENIOR TO ABSOLUTE DEATH..... Nope... nope.nope.nope- I thought looking away from the protesters. Then the glass doors shattered! Protesters ran in with signs and tomatoes, bike wheels and avocado seeds, oyster shells, and snow balls- WAIT HOW DID THEY GET SNOWBALLS IN THE MIDDLE OF THE YEAR?!?! Christmas hadn't even happened yet and these maniacs were carrying snowballs?!? Now that's dedication.. I nodded in approval. And then I saw Mary, she had been a friend of mine in elementary.. She kicked me off her then struggled to stab me with the maple branch. Then someone hit me with a snowball from behind, they pinned me to the wall. Then with a serious amount of strength he threw me onto the chandelier with him. Mary wanted to help but was shot by a guard.
