CHAPTER ONE: The change.

‘Maddy don’t do this, Maddy don’t do that, Maddy study and strive to achieve your dreams, don’t follow men let them follow.’ This was that daily reminder that I got constantly from my family, most especially my dad. Being the only the only girl among 3 boys was the hardest part of growing up and this made my dad even harder on me because this. I was forever home and constantly under a microscope every I did who I met my dad choose everything for me.

I was home schooled till I was seven years old when I went to an all-girls boarding school just close to home .

It enlisted various morals and ethics that one could never ever forget even if one ever tried. That made life even worse for me because everything I did, I always felt like a part of me was missing all the way from boarding school to college.

College was a bit different, here I got to interact with different people from different ethics and worldwide, I picked up various skills that made me a successful woman in the business sector, i have accomplished multimillionaire enterprises and my name was known worldwide and yet not the way i wanted it to be known.

I have done everything he has told to, achieved everything he ever wanted, but still, I have that empty feeling that pain that never goes away. I am done trying to please everyone but my myself.
