The only thing Raavi could do to make this event a success is to tolerate Evadne as much as possible. She could not move the dates and prevent any Dragons on their Selection. It would bring chaos in the order of things and the Dragons would eye on her more—which she badly wants to avoid. There’s already been a rift between House Taaffeite and the Great Houses. She does not want to add fuel on the fire even more. As much as possible, she’ll have to fulfill her duties without angering them whatsoever. But then, with the Dragons, it is quite impossible to avoid having their rage triggered.
