REJECTION

After the divorce Rachel quickly got engaged to her rich boyfriend and left for another country meanwhile, Stephen was depressed for a while but he decided to go in search for job but he keeps getting rejected at any company he went to.

Looking all tired and frustrated his ex wife mother who quickly laughed immediately she saw him and she said

"Oh my God look who we have here the poor wretched son-in-law who couldn't do anything as he watches his wife slipped away from his hands into the hands of another man such a fool."

He tries working away but she quickly blocks his way

"you're working away from me i think you have lost all home training and respect you have for me oh oh i feel sorry for you i can give you a $1,000 for you to start up something for yourself so that your daughter won't end up begging on the street oh my son, and what are you even doing here or you are here to beg for free coffee because from the look of things you look frustrated". Rachel's mom said laughing and nodding her head in pity

"yeah i know what you're doing you're trying to humiliate me because i couldn't give your daughter the lifestyle that she always wanted but let me tell you something i know that one day i will surely get back at my feet and your daughter regret ever living in it's just for a matter of time and please stop interrupt me i came here to get to coffee for myself"

" oh stop pretending you're so so so so sad but let me tell you something my daughter is married to the richest man in this country and if you could knee down and beg me i can give you her contacts so that they can her husband can give you a little job because i know you need it your dressing alone tells that you need the job". Rachel mom says

" like mother like daughter why am i not surprised you trained your daughter so poorly that you forgot that you definitely rip what you sow it's only for a matter of time then you will realize what you're doing and by that time it will be too late and by the way thanks for the offer but i can never stroke myself so low to go beg your daughter for a job i felt to remain jobless and which is only for a matter of time".

steven said as he rose his eyes looking at her

"oh stop saying rubbish i know deep inside you are envying my daughter lifestyle because your fellow man is able to afford what you can't even afford even for your own daughter i know if there's any chance i can call agencies to take Elena away from you so they can give her a better life because she staying with you is very useless and very bad for her Elena deserve a better family and a better life".

" listen to me as long as i respect you i will not tolerate you say rubbish or any e-word against my daughter you can insult me but i won't tolerate you insulting my daughter just leave me alone and go and enjoy the extravagant life your daughter is living i don't care."

Stephen replied as he tries not to raise his voice on her

"Hmmmm, Stephen I know you urgently need my help but let me tell you, you better ask for it and drop your pride else you will never go far in life"

"I wonder how you managed to win custody Of Elena, knowing that you are incapable of taking care of yourself and you still choose to take her in to frustrate her, I wonder why my daughter was not granted custody of her, That's bullshit".

" God knows why he never allowed your wayward daughter to get custody of Elena because deep down Elena will turn to a slave in her custody so back of from me and let me have my peace go meet your daughter".

" But my dear ex son in law just admit the fact that you need help just take a good look at you looking so skinny and dark more older than your age, my daughter and her wealthy husband who happens to be the mayor are returning from their vacation in UK so I can invite you to her place so that you can go down on your knees and beg him to employ you as a gardener in his house because that categories of work fit you properly at least am been kind and generous enough to tell you this opportunity that comes once in a lifetime so if you are wise enough grab this chances with your whole dirty life and try to give Elena a better life because if you continue like this and my daughter will make sure Elena is taking away from you but Also ur tiny stinky house is taking from you and I personally will make sure that you don't find a job anywhere here so think about it and do exactly what I told you to do"

She pulls away from him.

" Hold on a second woman, are you threatening me or am I imagining things" Stephen asked.

"No am not threatening you neither are you imagining things think about what I told you and get back to me" She said and walks out of the coffee shop while Stephen sat and keeps wondering in shock.

"This family is crazy very crazy is that how obsessed they are with me" Stephen thought as he keeps sipping his coffee slowly as he thinks about what Rachel mum told him.
