Chapter 22Markus led Troy toward the guest chambers and the squad leaders of Seven and Eight met them at the top of the stairs.
“Captain, we’ve got all the archers held, including the one on the other side. What should we do with them?” Squad Seven’s leader was comfortably in command of the halls and the prisoners, but he wanted directions.
“Keep them secured,” Troy ordered. “We’re putting all of Kalmar’s people into one of the barracks under close guard. Speak to Scaif, he is in charge of the prisoners. One squad should patrol the halls up here, the other take the captives down.”
